The candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams and play an important role in the development of Apple products, additionally, the candidate will work closely with our Contract Manufacturer’s EE team to achieve our design and validation goals with a high bar of quality.
In this role, you will drive next-generation iPhone hardware development from early concept through mass production. You’ll participate system integration for rigid and flexible boards, develop comprehensive test plans, and guide our contract manufacturing teams through engineering builds to ensure the highest quality.
Participate in the development of next generation iPhone from concept to MP\\nSystem integration for rigid board and flexible printed circuit to initialize and refine the design with cross functional teams\\nSupport various engineering builds from Prototype, EVT to PVT as technical expert, represent the EE team in a fast-paced and multi-functional team environment\\nIdentify EE related issues in the field and drive corresponding resolutions\\nTest development to cover connectivity, functionality, power consumption and reliability\\nLead and manage our contract manufacturer’s EE team
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering\\nExcellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin \\nDirect experience with one or more of the following technologies: high/low speed digital bus design, low voltage power regulation and delivery, industry standard protocols (audio and video, USB, wireless, memory bus, etc.) and their design best-practices
Strong EE fundamentals including analog and high speed digital design\\nGood understanding of DC/DC power supply\\nFundamentals of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity\\nLayout and signal routing experiences for rigid boards, printed flexible circuits\\nStrong desire to dive deep into system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team-based environment and proactive attitude\\nCurious mind and both intuitive and rigorous problem solving skills\\nExcellent verbal/written English skillset and presentation skills\\nProgramming skillset (Lua, Python or C) to assist hardware test and development
