To be considered you must meet the following requirements:

  • Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering:
        
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (copy of most recent transcript required)
  •  Available to work a 32-hour work week for 13 weeks between May and August (Jacksonville, FL)

JEA is seeking Electrical Engineer students for our paid 2027 Summer Internship Program. Students selected to participate in our Internship Program will have an opportunity to gain real world, on-the-job experience, and network with business professionals to develop valuable leadership, professional etiquette and presentation skills.

As an Electrical Engineering Intern with JEA, you will have an opportunity to leverage your skills in either a power generation or distribution industry. You will take on meaningful work contributing to projects in a specialty area such as transmission and distribution, turbines, fuels analysis, and more.
