Job Title: Hardware Electrical Engineer

Job Location: Santa Clara, CA

Exo Imaging is looking for a highly talented EE lead to design new ultrasound products based upon a novel proprietary ultrasound MEMs design. This position requires a technically broad, creative, hands-on engineer to lead a growing team of electrical engineers to develop and support our expanding line of innovative products.

The ideal candidate will manage and personally contribute to all aspects of electrical engineering. This includes architectural system design, component and supplier selection, power system optimization, schematic and PCBA design.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

· Leadership of the EE hardware design, working closely with ME, SW, Operations, Project management, FW, ASIC and FPGA teams

· Lead, manage and develop the EE design with embedded software engineers and technicians through prototyping, schematics and layout, DFT/DFM and module design, bring up and performance characterization.

· Apply a strong knowledge of substrate, flex and PCB, for material selection, stack-up planning, EMI minimization, signal integrity and power delivery.

· Work closely with Operations in the US and China to ensure that the suppliers, components, assembly processes and tests meet all Exo requirements for quality, cost and availability.

· Work with our Clinical and Imaging to teams to help define the ERD and validate design for FDA clearance.

Education/Experience Requirements:

· BS or MS in electrical engineering with 2+ years of electrical engineering experience

· Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability

· Experience to do board level hardware design and debug

· Broad technical debug skills including familiarity with analog and digital electronics and low-level software.

· Experience with high volume products and stringent quality requirements

· Experience with overseas contract manufacturing

· Team player with proven collaboration skills across departments

· Work with Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFM / DFA) guidelines from vendors and OEM.

Other Requirements:
