Are you a recent Electrical Engineering Graduate looking to gain hands-on experience on a large-scale industrial project? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team supporting a major oil refinery turnaround.

Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you'll develop practical skills, contribute to critical maintenance activities, and gain exposure to one of Australia's most complex industrial environments.

About the Role

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you'll play an important role in preparing detailed electrical work packs that enable safe and efficient execution of turnaround and engineering projects and provide support to Block leads in the following;

  • Ensuring all necessary documentation and specifications are accurate and
  • comprehensive
  • Participate in technical reviews and sign-offs, ensuring quality, technical integrity, and any engineering calculations of the compiled work packs
  • Review and optimisation of repair scopes
  • Help drive the QA effort for work pack signoff
  • Provide support and solutions for any Technical Query
  • Champion discovery planning for any discipline working within the block
  • Review discoveries with the Block Co-ordinator and seek authorisation
  • Materials support for discoveries
  • Oversight of NDT and inspection progress; and

What you'll need

We're seeking a motivated graduate who is eager to learn and build their career in a major industry. To provide support in this role, you have the following:

  • A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or be in your final semester).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • An analytical approach to solving technical problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, or engineering document management systems is advantageous but not essential.
