Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, lead, and manage systems engineering activities for FPGA-based solutions in support of VAS mission needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in hardware design, vulnerability analysis, and access solution integration.
• Define and document system architectures, interface definitions, and requirements for embedded FPGA systems.
• Drive research initiatives in microelectronics and hardware security, contributing to white papers, technical publications, and mission capability development.
• Oversee verification and validation processes, ensuring design integrity and alignment with mission objectives.
• Participate in technical exchange meetings, design reviews, and deliver system engineering artifacts to support customer milestones.
• Interface with stakeholders to understand mission objectives and translate them into technical requirements and implementation strategies.

Required Qualifications:
• 20+ years of experience in systems engineering for programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• TS/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field. (Five additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.)
• Strong background in microelectronics, embedded hardware, and low-level system design.
• Demonstrated contributions to technical writing, research, and peer-reviewed publications in hardware security or related fields.
• Experience leading system engineering efforts across the lifecycle – requirements development, design, implementation, integration, and sustainment.
• Familiarity with hardware assurance, reverse engineering concepts, side-channel analysis, and threat modeling at the silicon level.

Preferred Qualifications:
• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
• Experience contributing to R&D programs.
• Prior roles involving direct interaction with government stakeholders and classified mission teams.
