FPGA Engineer – South West London/Surrey - £40,000 - £55,000 pa

 A leading and growing electronics manufacturer are looking for an FPGA Engineer to join their R&D team designing top of the range audio electronics devices used across broadcast, live events and theatre.

Responsibilities:

• Be involved in the full product life cycle, designing highly accurate audio systems with low-latency
• Design & develop new processing and features for new and existing products
• Algorithm development
• Write high-quality, clear & robust firmware
• Design & review hardware designs & system architecture

Key Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
• FPGA design & simulation
• VHDL
• Embedded Software/Firmware development (C/C++)
• Strong understanding of signal processing
• High-speed digital design
• Microcontrollers & Peripherals

Any mix of the following is nice to have/non-essential:

• Simulation/verification
• OSVVM
• Audio DSP development
• Xilinx FPGA’s & Tools (Vivado etc.)
• Networking protocols
• Embedded Linux
