About the position
Responsibilities
• Design digital, analog, RF, and mixed signal circuit boards (PCB) using Cadence Allegro.
• Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineers to develop high quality reliable products.
• Generate documentation for manufacturing such as PCB and Assembly drawings, Gerber files, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Work with PCB vendors to select proper material, stack-up and impedance rules.
• Collaborate with in-house manufacturing to resolve DFM issues.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related field.
• Coursework in Digital/Analog design.
Nice-to-haves
• Knowledge of circuit design and schematic capture.
• Familiar with High-Speed Circuit design techniques.
• Understand return path, power distribution, grounding, and signal integrity.
• Experience using ECAD tools to design circuit boards.
• Comprehend the IPC standards and guidelines.
