What you’ll do…

As an experienced controls engineer, you will hit the ground running by designing control systems that exceed our clients’ expectations. Kubica Corp is a systems integrator and you will work with our team to develop electrical schematics, program PLC controllers and machine interfaces, assist in conveyor system integration, and work onsite to perform system commissioning. In other situations, you will own the solution, and advocate for the best control system to deliver that solution to customers. Working in a dynamic environment, you will make steady progress in helping our customers’ vision become a reality while providing value and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. (No H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
• Phone screening to commence on 5/13/2025.

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology degree
• 0-2 years of experience in the electrical/controls engineering field
• Experience with various types of conveyors and their programming
• Interest in working as a Controls Engineer in an industrial setting
• Internship/Co-Op utilizing PLC and HMI programming, particularly with Allen Bradley systems
• Exposure to electrical schematic design
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills. Able to speak and write clearly and in a way that all stakeholders will understand.
• Ability to work and communicate remotely in an independent and team-oriented environment. Must be able to travel to client sites.
• Critical thinking and analysis skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

• May be required to stand and/or sit in excess of 6 hours.
• May be required to lift, push and/or pull 40 pounds.
• Average mobility to move around a manufacturing environment.
• Able to conduct normal amounts of work at a computer.
• Onsite work requirements in Novi, Michigan
• Travel is required and usually varies from 20% to 40%. Travel takes place across North America.
• Schedule is typically Monday to Friday.
• May require work occasional on weekends and holidays to accommodate customer schedules.

• Project Management
• Siemens programming and hardware
• Leadership skills and ability to lead and influence others.
• Professional and technical fluency in the Spanish language
