Responsibilities
• Support capital projects and implement solutions for clients.
,
• Design, program, and troubleshoot packaging machinery and line control systems.
,
• Travel to top clients across the country to assist in the design of manufacturing processes.
,
• Conduct yourself with integrity in pursuit of individual and business goals.
,
• Create user applications to monitor and control the production of consumer goods.
,
• Design control systems that provide instantaneous feedback on the production life cycle.
,
• Design electrical control panels.
,
• Design industrial controller (PLC) programs and develop human machine interfaces (HMIs).
,
• Support Barry-Wehmiller Design Group project teams.

Requirements
• A bachelor of science in electrical engineering or computer engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
,
• The ability to simultaneously organize and execute multiple project responsibilities.
,
• A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities.
,
• Co-op or project experience with electrical engineering and PLC automation applications (preferred).
,
• Co-op or project experience with pharmaceutical, consumer products, and high-speed environments (preferred).
