Overview

As a leading innovator in power systems and ruggedized electronics we are seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in embedded Linux systems, network protocols (especially SNMPv3), and low-level firmware development. You'll work on mission-critical products used in defense, industrial, and remote applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for power systems and monitoring devices
• Implement and support SNMPv3 protocol stacks for secure device communication
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with custom electronics
• Work with Yocto-based Linux distributions to build and maintain embedded OS images
• Debug and optimize embedded systems for performance and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing processes

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in embedded firmware development
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded applications
• Hands-on experience with SNMPv3 implementation and configuration
• Familiarity with embedded Linux environments
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Yocto Project for custom Linux builds
• Knowledge of power electronics or battery management systems
• Familiarity with secure communication protocols and cybersecurity best practices
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
