Electronics Engineering Technician (PCB Exp. Req.) Description

Our client in the healthcare technology industry is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician to join their team in Ann Arbor, MI. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for quality control and testing of electro-mechanical assemblies and components using production test rigs, while maintaining process documentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with electronics, including exposure to PCBs. To excel in this role, you must thrive in a fast-paced, small-team environment, taking on diverse responsibilities and contribute to process improvements. Electronics Engineering Technician (PCB Exp. Req.) Responsibilities

•    Test and troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies and components
•    Evaluate the quality of incoming electrical and electro-mechanical components
•    Conduct tests on final products and identify causes of reported failures
•    Assemble, maintain, and repair production test rigs
•    Interpret technical schematics and diagrams
•    Perform diagnostic tests to assess electronic component functionality
•    Assist in the development of basic electrical components or prototypes, as needed
•    Maintain accurate records and documentation for certifications and processes
•    Create instructional materials and provide training on electronic repairs
•    Support process improvement initiatives and assist with troubleshooting

Electronics Engineering Technician (PCB Exp. Req.) Qualifications

•    Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field is required
•    3+ years of hands-on electronics experience, including PCBs, is required
•    Strong analytical and technical skills required
•    Proficiency using Microsoft Excel is required
•    Ability to work 100% on-site is required
