Research, design, develop, document and coordinate projects working collaboratively with engineering and marketing teams building automated production line systems.
• ** Conduct system engineering including: concept, architecture, block/functional diagrams, system level schematics, schematic capture, PCB design and complete documentation.
• ** Design analog and digital electronic circuits including low noise analog circuits, op-amps, filters, A/D and D/A converters, microprocessors, and power supplies
• ** Develop and program software and firmware.
• ** Troubleshoot and evaluate existing, new, and custom industrial automation products.
• ** Design and program custom PCBA test equipment.
• ** Create schematics, assembly drawings and instructions for production.
• ** Assemble and test prototype and custom units.
• ** Interface with suppliers to source and procure components.
• ** Resolve manufacturability issues with manufacturing engineering and other cross-functional teams.
Requires:
• ** BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• ** 5 + years experience with circuit design, PCB layout and DC and AC power distribution.
• ** Track record with, surface mount technology, changing electronic components, debugging, soldering, PCB manufacturing, motor drives, wiring, etc.
