About the Position:

We are looking for Electronics engineer inside the R&D Function for the Lighting BU, who will be assign to the following responsibilities,

  • Serve independently as the technical interface for lighting and sensing entire systems (including hardware and software) between Japanese customers/vendors and the global project team, handling responsibilities without direct supervision. For instance, Lighting Electronics and Mechatronics, and ADAS sensors, Wire harness/connector, and OBD (Onboard diagnosis).
  • Leadership to work, analyze and negotiate with Customer technical requirements and issues, as well as Mass production quality and field claims, also Tech-day events.
  • Support a part of the Electronics HW and SW design activities in the design team.
  • Provide support to other business units (e.g., PS, RD, ELS) as needed, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration with flexibility.
  • Other tasks if needed.

Your Responsibilities will be:

What Qualifications you will bring:

•    LANGUAGES:
     Japanese: Native level 
     English: Intermediate business level (equivalent to TOEIC score of 600 or above), capable of independent communication with overseas colleagues and business travel.
•    EXPERIENCES: 
    Over 5 years in automotive electronics, especially in entire ECU/System development. 
•    SPECIFIC KNWOLEDGE:  
o    Diagnosis and fail-safe concepts
o    Automotive Electronic Control Unit (ECU)
o    Hardware circuit, Wire harness/Connector, Semiconductors and microcontrollers
o    Communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UART, Ethernet, etc.)
o    Quality aspects for HW and SW development process (SPICE / CMMI / V-model etc.)
o    SW application tools (VECTOR tool etc.)
o    Electronic validation procedures 
o    Functional safety ISO26262, FMEA/FTA methodologies
o    Product Cyber security
o    SDV

Other skills that we would welcome:

o    Mechatronic; Stepper and DC motors
o    Light source; LED
o    ADAS Sensors; LiDAR, Radar, and Camera
o    SMT process
