About the position

As an Electronics Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Design Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will be engaged in a dynamic role that encompasses the entire lifecycle of circuit design, from initial requirements to final testing and integration. This position is part of the Raptor Avionics, Command and Data Handling hardware design group, which plays a crucial role in supporting multiple projects and programs through circuit board design and analysis. You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, contributing to innovative solutions that keep people safe and address complex challenges. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing design requirements, creating block diagrams, schematics, and circuit card assemblies (CCAs). You will also be tasked with purchasing all necessary components listed in the Bill of Materials (BOM), supporting the manufacturing process of the CCA, and performing test checkouts to ensure functionality. Additionally, you will assist in the integration of the program box, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those with limited professional experience, as it offers a comprehensive introduction to the field of electronics engineering within a supportive and innovative environment.

Requirements
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

• Experience or coursework related to design and/or analysis of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)

Nice-to-haves
• Knowledge of Worst Case Analysis (WCA) on Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) designs

• Knowledge of card test requirements and process

• Ability to understand electrical circuits, interfaces, and interconnect diagrams
