Electronic Hardware Engineer

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of sophisticated electronic systems. Responsibilities will span hardware, firmware, and software development while contributing to product innovation, system performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices. 

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Electronic Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Related Engineering Field
• Strong academic foundation in:
  • Electronics
  • Circuit Theory
  • Digital Systems
  • Signal Processing 

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 2–5 years' experience in electronic design, firmware development, hardware design, and/or software engineering
• Design and develop advanced electronic systems and embedded applications
• Experience working with microcontrollers and microprocessors within control systems
• Ability to develop electronic solutions from schematic design through testing and implementation
• Exposure to hardware, firmware, and software integration
• Strong understanding of electronic system architecture and design methodologies
• Experience deriving and managing technical requirements at board or component level
• Knowledge of electronic simulations and system-level analysis
• Conduct hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities
• Experience reviewing and implementing engineering changes and design improvements
• Generate technical documentation, production data packs, and support documentation
• Support production, technical teams, and customers with product-related challenges
• Understanding of component selection, qualification, and reliability considerations
• Ability to analyse system-level considerations such as power distribution and noise mitigation
• Experience with configuration management and engineering development processes
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality standards. 

Advantageous Skills:

• Embedded systems development experience
• Exposure to safety-critical or highly regulated electronic products
• Project management exposure, including resource planning and risk management
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
• Knowledge of electronic manufacturing and production processes
• Exposure to system safety analysis and compliance requirements
• Strong continuous improvement mindset and passion for innovation.
