Electrical Test Engineer
• Location: College Park, MD, 20740
• Contract: 6 month contract to potential hire (performance based)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)
• Pay: $40-50/hr

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Test Engineer. As an Electrical Test Engineer,

you’ll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to lead the journey to build the

world’s best quantum computers to solve the world’s most complex problems.

In this role, you will perform power and functional testing on printed circuit boards and chassis

assemblies, following the written test procedures. You will use measurement instruments,

including power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal generators, and

other instruments as required.

Responsibilities:
• Inspect, and test PCBA’s and electromechanical chassis using electronic measuring
• equipment, command line, and following the test procedure.
• Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in product design, development, and production.
• Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and rework/repair of
• non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause.
• Record and store test data results per the test procedure.
• Maintain proper records related to product development and release.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing.
• Adhere to safety and ESD protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Education: Associate's Degree
• Experience Years: 3-5 years
• Experience Type: Electrical Engineering or Technology
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Electrical background
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience in bench testing processes and debugging
• Experience with Unix command line
• Google Suite, Jira, PLM software, and ERP Software
• Soldering skills, including SMT and PTH components, and cable assemblies
