Position Details:
The hiring range for this role is typically between $39.00 and $48.00 an hour, with the full range extending to $57.00 an hour, based on experience, internal equity, and career progression

Primary Function: The Electrical Engineering Technician III is responsible for executing complex prototype builds, conducting advanced testing, and supporting engineering development efforts. This role guides junior technicians and owns deliverables related to test setup, troubleshooting, and process documentation.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
Perform complex prototype builds and test setups from minimal documentation
Lead or support troubleshooting at the component/system level
Conduct characterization testing and produce test reports
Suggest design improvements and influence development activities
Support mentoring of Technician I/II team members
Manage quality, timeline, and delivery of assigned tasks
Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
H.S. Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
5+ years of experience in electrical prototype environments
Deep understanding of schematics, component function, and test strategy
Fluent in test data acquisition, electrical characterization, and debug workflows
Skilled in rework, modification, and detailed documentation
Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication skills
Demonstrates leadership through initiative and mentoring
IPC Certification strongly preferred
Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group

Pass a post-offer background verification
Work Environment Standard lab/production environment. Appropriate safety garments (PPE) must be worn. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation. Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients, or suppliers. Must be able to stand and work as long as 12 hours in different positions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Β
