Electrical Engineering Intern

Lithionics Battery is looking for a hands‑on Electrical Engineering Intern who wants real lab experience—not busywork. If you’re excited by battery systems, hardware testing, and getting your hands dirty with real products that ship to customers, this internship is for you.

You’ll work directly alongside our engineering and manufacturing teams, supporting cutting‑edge lithium battery systems used in demanding real‑world applications. This role is ideal for someone who wants to turn theory into practice and learn how hardware actually gets built, tested, and improved.

What You’ll Do

Hands‑On Engineering & Testing

• Assist with hands‑on testing and validation
• Help set up, run, and document lab tests directed by senior engineers
• Participate in hardware troubleshooting and failure analysis (a.k.a. doing “board sleuthing” when things break)

Lab & Engineering Support

• Be a technical extra set of hands in the lab, supporting engineers during development and testing
• Help oversee and execute tests directed by senior team members
• Learn how real‑world electrical designs behave outside of simulations

Manufacturing Documentation & Process Improvement

• Create clear, usable documentation that Manufacturing has been requesting—and truly needs

What We’re Looking For

• Current student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• Interest in battery systems, power electronics, or hardware development
• Comfortable working in a lab environment and learning by doing
• Curious, detail‑oriented, and not afraid to ask questions or investigate failures
• Experience with schematics, wiring, PCBs, or test equipment is a plus—but not required
