Our team is looking for a qualified, ambitious, and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to support our Water Resources team. We are hiring at our Indianapolis office. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design power distribution, motor control, lighting, and instrumentation systems for water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities, including treatment plants, pump stations, and lift stations.
  • Develop electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and circuiting for process and facility electrical systems.
  • Work with SCADA and instrumentation systems, coordinating electrical infrastructure with controls and automation needs.
  • Prepare bidding documents and construction specifications for municipal water and wastewater projects. 
  • Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the NEV and other applicable codes and utility standards.


WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; experience with water/wastewater or other heavy industrial facilities preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in electrical engineering and design, providing electrical and instrumentation designs for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for electrical design.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting and power distribution systems.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Life Safety Codes, and other related codes.
  • Ability to think critically, manage time, and solve problems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
