· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
· Over 10 years of experience in digital circuit design and development, with hands-on involvement in advanced FPGA-based projects.
· Skilled in VHDL and familiar with FPGA development platforms such as Xilinx or Altera.
· Strong knowledge of communication protocols like PCIe, 1G/10G Ethernet, and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN).
· Solid understanding of system-level architecture and verification strategies.
· Deep expertise in FPGA structures, digital logic design, and high-speed circuit design.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with other hardware description languages such as Verilog.
· Familiarity with advanced verification techniques, including Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
· Understanding of embedded system development using C/C++.
· Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to ITAR regulations.
Responsibilities:
· Digital Design & Development: Lead the creation and enhancement of digital systems and components using VHDL.
· Testing & Validation: Design and implement verification strategies, run simulations, and test digital systems for reliability and efficiency.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with system architects, hardware teams, and software engineers to translate product requirements into functional designs.
· Debugging & Optimization: Analyze and resolve hardware and firmware issues to ensure robust FPGA and software integration.
· Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of design strategies, technical procedures, and project outcomes for internal use and team collaboration.
· Project Planning: Define development timelines, resource needs, and project plans from concept through release.
· Team Mentorship: Support and mentor junior engineers by sharing digital design knowledge and best practices.
· Innovation & Process Improvement: Continuously seek and propose improvements in tools, techniques, technologies, and processes that enhance the performance, quality, or efficiency of the company’s digital products.
