JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position’s main responsibility will be quoting electrical retrofits, equipment upgrades, safety systems, solutions for obsolete parts, and other quote-related projects and processes. The qualified candidate will provide technical support to internal departments and external customers by answering questions regarding retrofits, upgrades, equipment capabilities, controls systems, and machine functionality.
The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of industrial control systems, including PLC programming and troubleshooting, to evaluate upgrade opportunities and develop effective solutions for customers. This position will work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and customers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met for both quotations and project execution.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this role requires frequent interaction with customers, preparation of technical documentation, quote development, and coordination across multiple departments. This position offers a hybrid work environment, and candidates must be able to reliably commute to Franklin, WI.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma required. Associate degree (2-year) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field, or 10+ years of electrical controls experience in a manufacturing environment.
