This role supports the design and delivery of electrical engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical engineering design (FOR WHAT TYPE OF PROJECT?) and support tasks for projects from concept through construction
Responsible for developing electrical system designs, preparing construction documents and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project execution
Prepare engineering calculations, layouts and construction documents in compliance with codes, standards and company procedures
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient design solutions
Participate in design reviews and help resolve technical issues
Support project teams during all phases of design and construction, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs
Support senior engineers and project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget
Apply practical engineering knowledge to troubleshoot design challenges and project conflicts
Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to client coordination as needed
Maintain awareness of applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering
Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical engineering centric project experience
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Demonstrate strong technical capability and proficiency in design tools, along with the ability to contribute meaningfully to project planning and execution
Working knowledge of Bluebeam
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
Have good to great organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of industrial and/or manufacturing electrical systems design
Sustainability credentials such as LEED AP

Salary Range: $65,520-85,280, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
