Your tasks:
- Design and integrate electrical systems and wiring for humanoid robotics prototypes
- Develop and document wire harnesses, connector interfaces, pinouts, and electrical schematics using KiCad or Altium Designer
- Design and optimize power distribution systems, including cable sizing, protection circuits, and system reliability concepts
- Perform hardware testing, board evaluations, troubleshooting, and bring-up of new electronic components and subsystems
- Analyze signal integrity, EMC/EMI compliance, shielding, and grounding concepts for robust system performance
- Manage electronic components and libraries within CAD environments and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and robotics engineers to ensure successful system integration
Your profile:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- Experience with electrical system design, schematics, and hardware validation
- Proficiency in KiCad, Altium Designer, or similar EDA tools
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI, signal integrity, and industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT
- Robotics experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
