Forge Forward is looking for a Electrical Engineer-Journeyman to support a client in Patuxent River/St. Inigoes, MD. Position will be primarily on-site at the client, so ability to commute daily by car is required. Some situational telework is possible. Relocation is not offered for this opportunity.

Requires minimum of three full years of experience as an electrical engineer supporting NAVAIR, but additional years of relevant experience will be given preference. This position requires an active Secret clearance which means you must also be a US citizen. Candidates not meeting both of these requirements cannot be considered.

Functional Responsibilities and Skills:
• Provides technical expertise to analyze complex technical data, identification of problems, and development of solutions.
• Develops, analyzes, and maintains technical documentation to include system design documents, test plans, evaluation reports, risk identification and mitigation and QA.
• Stays current with emerging technologies and Industry trends in order to apply this knowledge to system and process improvements.
• Communicates technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including project managers and customers.
• Supports and guides junior staff and collaborates with senior team members in applying analytical techniques and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements:
• Minimum of three full years of experience as an electrical engineer supporting NAVAIR.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required, but other engineering degrees will be considered.
• US citizen with minimum of a Secret clearance.
