Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and execution of electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements while delivering high-quality solutions in various sectors such as education, healthcare, corporate, hospitality, and municipal projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop electrical engineering plans and specifications for projects.
• Conduct system calculations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with NEC standards.
• Select appropriate electrical equipment and materials based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers on multidisciplinary projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, fire alarm systems, and lighting design.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering design, preferably in education, healthcare, corporate, hospitality, or municipal projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and standards related to electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MEP software preferred.
• Experience with power distribution, fire alarm systems, and lighting design is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
