DescriptionMaintenance & Operations
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Ensure timely repair and troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems
- Maintain plant equipment to minimize downtime and breakdowns
- Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- maintain High Tension (HT) electrical systems (e.g., 11kV, 22kV, 33kV or higher)
- Manage substations, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems
- Monitor electrical distribution network performance and ensure system stability
- Coordinate HT switching operations and ensure adherence to safety procedures
Automation & Control Systems
- Manage PLC, SCADA, DCS systems and industrial automation processes
- Troubleshoot automation failures and improve system performance
- Implement upgrades, modifications, and system integration projects
- Support digitalization initiatives where applicable
Engineering & Technical Tasks
- Design, maintain, and improve electrical systems, equipment, and components
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Use engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, software systems) for design and analysis
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety regulations
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and maintenance logs
- Track KPIs such as system availability, energy consumption, and downtime
- Prepare technical reports and performance analysis
Project & Budget Management
- Prepare and monitor maintenance budget
- Support project planning, cost estimation, and execution
- Control maintenance costs, overtime, and spare parts usage
Team Supervision & Development
- Supervise and guide electricians and technicians
- Provide training and coaching to team members
- Manage schedules, attendance, and performance of the team
- Support skill development of junior staff
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and work standards
- Conduct safety briefings and enforce PPE usage
- Support incident prevention (goal: zero accidents)
Collaboration
- Work closely with Process Engineers and Production teams
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors
- Support plant-wide operational improvements
