Electrical Engineer (Solar PV)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, implementation, and delivery of rooftop solar energy projects. This role will work closely with internal teams, contractors, utility providers, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs and technical solutions for solar PV systems.

• Conduct site assessments, technical evaluations, and feasibility studies.

• Prepare project documentation, technical reports, and material requirements.

• Support project planning, budgeting, and cost estimation activities.

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, utility companies, and stakeholders throughout project execution.

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety requirements.

• Participate in testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

• Provide technical support during project implementation and operational phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• At least 2 years of experience in solar PV, renewable energy, or related electrical engineering projects.

• Experience in site inspections, technical assessments, and project coordination.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, design principles, and engineering documentation.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to commercial or industrial solar projects.

• Knowledge of utility interconnection requirements and net metering processes.

• Experience in project scheduling, construction support, and commissioning activities.

• Familiarity with renewable energy industry standards and best practices.
