Brief Description:
 
A leading consulting engineering company is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its Building Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial, residential, and industrial projects within a collaborative environment, with exposure to experienced engineering professionals and opportunities for career growth.

Duties & Responsibilities


Job Description:
  • Design MV/LV electrical building services systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects
  • Prepare electrical calculations, technical reports, specifications, and drawings
  • Develop and update designs using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project implementation
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and project requirements
  • Assist with technical problem-solving and ensure successful project delivery
 
Skills & Experience:
  • Deliver accurate and practical electrical designs
  • Support projects from design through to construction
  • Maintain strong technical and quality standards
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in electrical building services consulting
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Qualification:
  • BEng, BSc, or BTech in Electrical Engineering
  • ECSA Candidate registration or progression towards professional registration is advantageous
