What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):
• Design & Develop: Create innovative analog circuits involving operational amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and isolation techniques.
• Integrate & Optimize: Implement mixed-signal designs utilizing high-performance Analog-to-Digital (A/D) and Digital-to-Analog (D/A) converters.
• System-Level Thinking: Contribute to overall product design, considering packaging, interconnects, and system integration.
• Ensure Robustness: Design for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), hazardous location standards (HazLoc), and demanding industrial environments.
• Validate & Characterize: Build, test, and rigorously characterize prototypes to ensure performance meets specifications.
• Own Your Projects: Manage assigned tasks and projects with autonomy, contributing your expertise throughout the development process.
• Collaborate & Support: Work closely with manufacturing teams during product launch and provide ongoing support for products in the field.
What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications):
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a closely related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on analog, mixed-signal, and power circuit design and analysis.
• Proven ability to analyze complex circuits and troubleshoot effectively.
• Proficiency with standard laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a specialization in analog/mixed-signal circuits.
• Experience designing for EMC compliance and/or hazardous locations.
• Familiarity with PCB layout considerations for high-performance circuits.
