PAY RATE: $80-90/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

  • Designs and captures electrical schematics and guides PCB board layouts.

  • Performs electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.

  • Resolves test anomalies and troubleshooting for avionics products.

  • Generates, reviews, and presents Product Certification documentation.

  • Supports system level testing for avionics hardware.

  • Works on development of sophisticated state-of-the-art Avionics products in an Integrated Product Development environment.

  • Supports technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.

  • Applies knowledge of different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering.

  • Experience in Analog circuit design at the card/board level schematic and analysis.

  • Experience with Worst-Case and Parts Stress electrical circuit analysis.

  • Experience supporting technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.

  • Experience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.

  • Preferred: Experience in Analog Circuit Design, Motor Controls, Control Theory, or Avionics Electronics Design.

  • Preferred: Experience with schematic capture using Xpedition or similar tools, PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics simulation tools, and failure investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, System level).
