Elite Talent Hub is a specialist in permanent staffing solutions for clients both nationally and internationally.

On behalf of our client, a well-established design and build contractor with over 40 years' experience delivering mechanical, electrical and civil engineering projects for water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, serving municipal and commercial clients nationwide from their Limerick headquarters, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) design submissions.
• Production of testing and commissioning plans.
• Working with the design team on production of drawings and documentation.
• Preparation of scope documents and works packages.
• Electrical and instrumentation procurement, including VSDs, motors, distribution boards, MCCs, PLCs and flow meters.
• Developing electrical design deliverables, including single line diagrams, cable sizing calculations, cable schedules, M&I schedules, I/O listings and P&IDs.
• Overseeing electrical and instrumentation installation works at construction stage.
• Completion of site quality checks to ensure works are complete in accordance with design outputs and ready for commissioning.
• Preparation of commissioning documentation and site supervision during the commissioning process.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team through to project close-out and client handover.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) preferred.
• 3 to 5 years' relevant experience preferred.
• Water/wastewater sector experience an advantage.

Location: Limerick, with site visits nationwide.

Salary: €50,000 - €65,000 DOE.
