What youβll do
The role responsibilities include:
- Support the operation and maintenance of critical Data Center electrical infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution, BMS, and associated facility equipment.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with vendors and contractors.
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and support emergency response activities.
- Perform facility inspections, maintain operational records, and prepare performance reports.
- Support capacity, reliability, safety, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Assist with commissioning activities, infrastructure upgrades, and new facility projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, operational procedures, and applicable standards.
What youβll have
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting Data Center, critical facilities, or electrical maintenance operations.
- Knowledge of electrical systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution, and building monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance management processes and contractor coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Good communication skills and commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Ability to participate in on-call or shift-based operational support when required.
- Experience in Data Center environments and familiarity with Tier III/Tier IV standards.
- Knowledge of HVAC, ELV, Fire & Life Safety, and critical facility systems.
- Data Center certifications and/or 33kV authorization.
- Experience with MV/HV switching and maintenance activities.
