We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our client’s manufacturing facility in Gauteng. Our client is seeking an experienced engineer with experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and plant equipment
- Lead electrical engineering projects, including equipment installations and upgrades
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults to minimise production downtime
- Support preventative and predictive maintenance programmes
- Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve plant performance
- Develop technical documentation, electrical drawings, and project reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency and reliability
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- BTech Electrical Engineering
- Registration with ECSA or eligibility for registration will be advantageous
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and industrial automation
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
