Position Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level Analog Design Engineer to join our growing team in Woodland Hills, CA. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact defense electronics projects, contributing to the design, analysis, and validation of analog circuits that support our nation's critical missions. You’ll be part of a collaborative team employing model-based engineering and agile development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform analog circuit design and simulation to support new product development.
• Conduct system- and subsystem-level requirements analysis, conceptual design, and detailed analog circuit design.
• Perform circuit modeling, signal and power integrity analysis, and design verification.
• Support schematic capture and PCB layout using tools such as Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium Designer.
• Assist in the test and troubleshooting of circuit boards and subassemblies in the lab environment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of engineering experience OR
Master’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation.
• Proficiency in schematic capture using Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium Designer.
• Experience with circuit or subsystem test and troubleshooting.
• Must possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must be able to work onsite full-time at the Woodland Hills, CA location.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with an emphasis on Analog Circuit Design.
• Experience with Mentor Xpedition Designer and AMS tools for PCB design.
• Familiarity with HyperLynx for signal and power integrity analysis.
• Proficiency with PSpice for circuit simulation.
• Experience in design verification, hardware bring-up, and functional testing.
