Responsibilities

Electrical design of power distribution, control, communication, lighting, fire alarm and security systems for Buildings.
Technical calculations and software use for lighting analyses, load calculations.
Conducting all tasks in cooperation with internal clients and other engineering disciplines.
Managing and enhancing client relationships.
Responsible for Revit and CAD standards, implementation, and enforcement.
Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing production with GCC-coordinator.
Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced.
Produce work to specified WSP in Canada BIM standards and suggest revisions to standards as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Electrical Engineering Degree
Knowledge with Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit and other electrical softwares
Minimum of 0-1 year experience in electrical design.
Ability to work with a minimum of instructions and complete tasks independently.
Focus on electrical systems for buildings including power distribution, lighting, life safety and communications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs.
Must possess a team player attitude.
