Support multi-disciplinary engineering projects, designing systems that power Blue Origin’s space exploration missions.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing, implementing, installing, maintaining, and administering hardware, software, and system infrastructures.
• Applying broad multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge including mechanical and electrical/electronic engineering and computer/software systems.
• Monitoring system performance to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Performing root cause analysis on failed components and implementing corrective measures.
• Collaborating to establish and improve engineering processes and procedures.
• Working on projects involving avionics hardware, software, hardware in the loop, instrumentation & controls, system test, power systems, communication systems, mechanical systems, propulsion systems, manufacturing, and systems engineering.
• Supporting Blue Origin corporate functions with centralized engineering support across business units and locations.
About You
What you'll need:
• Successful completion of a Blue Origin internship in 2025.
• Enrollment in or recent graduation from a college or university.
• Ability to start full-time work on or before September 2026.
• Minimum B.S. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a similar discipline.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on rapid development programs.
• Self-driven with minimal direction needed to seek out requirements.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for Blue Origin’s mission and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawful admission as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
• M.S. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or mechatronics.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary ranges: CA $85,259.00-$119,361.90; CO $78,153.00-$109,414.20; WA $85,259.00-$119,361.90 (other site ranges may differ).
