We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in semiconductor fabrication and distribution systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation of various processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with process engineers and equipment engineers to develop tool hook-up designs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing control systems, including PLC and HMI interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to exhaust, chemical drains, and gas distribution.
• Manage database maintenance to support control system operations and performance monitoring.
• Work with equipment vendors to integrate new technologies and solutions into existing systems.
• Oversee the distribution of ultra-pure water, cooling water, and steam systems within the facility.
• Develop and maintain documentation for control systems and processes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, HVAC, and waste collection systems, preferred.
• Experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, as well as HMI programming.
• Familiarity with ultra-pure water distribution and toxic/non-toxic gas management, preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
