JOB – Control Systems Engineer

LOCATION – Greenville, WI

TERM – Direct Hire

SALARY - $100,000 - $120,000 per annum.

INDUSTRY – Process Automation / Food & Beverage Systems

A leading provider of automated process solutions is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their engineering team. This hands-on role covers the full project lifecycle—from system design and documentation to commissioning and customer training—supporting a variety of process and industrial automation applications.

Experience within projects across Food & Beverage sectors is a pre-requisite for this position.

The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably within process automation or machinery sectors.
• Strong skills in PLC programming, electrical design, and documentation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Windows OS.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms such as Ignition is a plus.
• Ability to create control system designs based on P&IDs and layouts.
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills.

The Control Systems Engineer duties will involve:
• Designing PLC code, sequencer pinning, and I/O checkout documentation. (Allen-Bradley predominantly).
• Creating electrical schematics and network architectures.
• Specifying control equipment and estimating costs.
• Leading Functional Design Specification meetings and Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Overseeing onsite commissioning and providing operator training.
• Supporting continuous improvement of internal control standards.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality automation solutions.
