VinUniversity (VinUni) is the first private, not-for-profit Vietnamese university established based on international standards. ABOUT THE POSITION
Faculty members of Computer Science at The College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) will have the opportunity to work in affiliation and collaboration with Smart Green Transformation Center (GREEN-X).
They will Lead the design and development of smart IoT and embedded systems for environmental and sustainability applications (carbon emission estimation, anomaly detection, real-time monitoring). Develop and maintain IoT and automation systems for CFMMS, SMAS, and SmartWaste; contribute to prototype development and field validation.
We welcome applications from those with expertise in or across these disciplines: Environmental Monitoring and Assessment; Pollution Control and Environmental Remediation; Waste Valorization and Resource Recovery; Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Emission Factor Analysis
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND COMPUTER SCIENCE
The College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) at VinUniversity provides a rigorous academic foundation and extensive opportunities for interdisciplinary, application-oriented research and learning.
In collaboration with seven research centers, CECS combines an international-standard curriculum with state-of-the-art facilities and strategic industry partnerships, particularly within the Vingroup ecosystem, to cultivate an academic environment that catalyzes technological and scientific breakthroughs.
ABOUT SMART GREEN TRANSFORMATION CENTER (GREEN-X)
Smart Green Transformation Center (GREEN-X) at VinUni is an interdisciplinary research center focusing on smart green transformation, conducting scientific research, technology development, and policy consulting in areas such as carbon emission tracking, smart aquaculture, urban circular economy, green economic policy, and innovation competitiveness measurement - aiming to promote sustainable development and enhance the competitiveness of localities and businesses through data-driven, evidence-based, and field-validated approaches.
