AUTOMATION TECHNICIANS (N.DIP ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING)


We're recruiting on behalf of a leading industrial automation company seeking a talented Automation Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys PLCs, fault-finding, commissioning  and working with cutting-edge manufacturing technologies

Duties & Responsibilities

Job & Company Description

  • 2- 3 years' experience in industrial automation
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Omron, or similar)
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience
  • Exposure to SCADA and HMI systems
  • Knowledge of VSDs, motors, sensors, instrumentation, and control panels
  • Experience commissioning and maintaining automated equipment
  • Understanding of industrial communication networks
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, automotive, mining, or process industries advantageous
Education 
  • National Diploma (N.Dip) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
  • Relevant PLC, SCADA, or Automation certifications advantageous
