The electrical engineering technology instructor's primary function is to provide instruction and assess student learning in the college's electrical engineering technology program. The instructor will participate in program promotion, articulation, and student recruitment as well as attend the program advisory group meetings. The instructor will serve on college committees, and perform other duties appropriate for a faculty member as assigned. The electrical engineering technology instructor is dedicated to concepts and programs that promote student success and lifelong learning.
A. Bachelor's degree in electrical technology, electrical engineering, renewable energy or a related field, or an Associate's degree in electrical technology combined with significant experience in the field required. Master's degree preferred. Educational or experiential background in Instrumentation and Process Control technology desirable.
B. Electrical technology and Instrumentation and Process Control technology work experience required.
C. Prior experience as an excellent, innovative teacher and use of instructional technologies is desirable; community college experience preferred.
D. Qualified candidate must have strong reading, writing, communication, and computation skills as well as be computer literate.
This is a full-time, tenure track, 9-month faculty position to begin in August for the Fall, 2026 semester.
