Applied Physicist & Electrical Engineer

Define research topics and experimental strategies aligned with system and product requirements\\nDesign, build, and operate experimental and test setups to measure and characterize system performance\\nCollect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, translating insights into technology capabilities and product specifications\\nInvestigate new methods, theories, and physical phenomena; apply existing knowledge to novel challenges and generate new understanding through rigorous experimentation\\nCharacterize material and system-level physical limits to inform design feasibility and define system requirements\\nDevelop and validate simulation models to support experimental and systems work\\nAnalyze and report results clearly to enable cross-functional teams to make informed design decisions\\nPartner with multidisciplinary teams across hardware, software, and systems engineering to drive research from concept to product

Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field\\n5+ years of hands-on experience in a physics role\\nDemonstrated experience designing and building optical systems\\nExperience with simulation tools

Knowledge of imaging systems design and performance characterization\\nExperience in biophysics or bio-optical systems\\nFamiliarity with system requirements definition and specification development\\nOutstanding communicator with the ability to present complex technical findings to diverse audiences\\nCollaborative team player who thrives in multidisciplinary, cross-functional environments
