About the position

As an Antennas and Propagation Engineer within the CIA's Directorate of Science and Technology (DS&T), you will play a crucial role in applying your engineering or scientific expertise as part of a dynamic technical team. This team is composed of innovative problem solvers dedicated to delivering new solutions that support the CIA's mission to collect foreign intelligence. Your work will involve specialized radio frequency (RF) propagation modeling, antenna design, fabrication, and measurement expertise, all aimed at addressing complex intelligence challenges through tailored engineering solutions. Responsibilities
• Apply engineering or scientific expertise in antenna design and propagation.

• Conduct RF propagation modeling and antenna measurement.

• Collaborate with a technical team to develop innovative solutions for intelligence challenges.

• Engage in the design, fabrication, and testing of antennas and related systems.

• Utilize engineering tools and software for analysis and simulation.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale.

• Ability to meet CIA's requirements for citizenship and background investigation.

• Demonstrated proficiency in electrical and/or computer engineering fields.

Nice-to-haves
• Advanced degree or professional certification in Electrical Engineering or RF communications.

• Experience in systems engineering and prototype design.
,
• Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation and computational electromagnetics.

• Familiarity with engineering tools such as FEKO, Ansys HFSS, and CST Studio Suite.
