Job Title: Antenna Systems and Test Engineer
At Herrick Technology Laboratories, our Antenna Engineering team is responsible for designing antennas from HF through millimeter wave.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and execute test and integration plans of antenna systems in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Analyze test results to refine designs and improve system performance.
• Work with engineers to debug testing and ensure thorough completion of test plans.
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience with antenna and RF HW can substitute for B.S. degree; a technician level position may be available.
• Up to 25% domestic travel.
Preferred Skills:
• Developing test plans to verify system requirements or expected performance metrics based on system block diagrams, schematics, and RF cascade simulations.
• Experience with VNAs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, and other lab equipment for testing active and passive RF circuits and antennas.
• Measuring far-field antenna manifold patterns in anechoic chambers and outdoor test facilities.
• Receive and transmit antenna systems expertise.
• Some experience with software tools for data analysis and/or automating test setups.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary technical team environment.
• Passive antenna prototyping experience is beneficial.
