Compensation: $150,000-$230,000 with potential negotiation based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and architect Ku-/Ka-band RF and antenna systems for SatCom terminals
• Develop and simulate various antenna apertures, including flat-panel and phased array types
• Use EM simulation tools (HFSS, CST, etc.) to optimize antenna designs and evaluate trade-offs
• Generate design documentation and support prototype fabrication and test activities
• Draft and execute test plans for RF and antenna modules (DVT campaigns)
• Set up and manage RF lab environments and test fixtures
• Automate test processes via scripting
• Produce detailed reports on antenna and RF performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software)
• Support prototype and production build-up, including transfer to manufacturing
• Design and optimize AESA antennas and components (e.g., radomes, polarizers)
• Apply cost-effective manufacturing technologies for scalable product delivery

Qualifications:
• Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics with antenna/EM wave theory research or similar
• 5+ years in SatCom antenna aperture and phased array development
• 5+ years in RF system and antenna architecture design
• Proficient in simulation tools like HFSS, CST
• Experienced in using RF test equipment (VNAs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers)
• Familiar with near-field and far-field antenna testing methods
• Knowledge of commercial microwave PCB materials and fabrication processes
• Background in designing low-cross-polarization metasurface radiators and polarizers
• Experience with AESA antennas for LEO user terminals strongly preferred
