This position involves interacting with optical, mechanical and software design teams to assist in the overall development of systems; planning and leading electrical engineering root cause analysis for electrical issues, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to formulate and implement solutions to issues, contributing to the generation and maintenance of documentation, specifying, selecting and qualifying active and passive components; developing and benchmarking system performance models; developing and implementing test procedures, and evaluating and selecting appropriate test instrumentation. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently to determine approaches to challenges and will provide leadership and direction to less experienced team members.
What Sets You Apart
Proven mixed signal circuit design and analysis skills. HyperLynx, Cadence, or LTspice preferred.
Knowledge of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools. Xpedition or Allegro preferred.
Knowledge of electrical assembly and test, communications-related tools (BERT, sampling oscilloscope, OSA).
High speed design experience. Datarates 3 Gbps and above preferred.
Panel and power electronics design experience. SMPS, power entry modules, and transient suppression preferred.
Familiarity with software development. C++, Matlab, VHDL, Python preferred.
Experience with R&D rapid turnaround including concept, design, modeling, prototype, vendor interface, and test.
Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design.

Target salary range: USD $115,684.00/Yr. - USD $122,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
